HISTORY
Most homes within our square mile were built in the early 1960's. The school in the center of the neighborhood was originally Fulton Elementary, named after Robert Fulton. It is in the shape of a 4-leaf clover. It was for children Kindergarten through 6th grade. Teens attended Eli Whitney Junior High School from grades 7 - 9 until the opening of William G. Skelly Junior High School in 1965. After junior high school, most teens went to Nathan Hale High School while others were in the East Central High School district for 9th thru 12th grades.

Briarwood Park is located in the Fulton neighborhood. Our park is well-groomed, probably the largest home owned park in Tulsa, with dozens of children and adults swimming in a large well-maintained pool, picnicking under the shelters, playing on the playground equipment or playing on the ball diamond which includes a backstop and dugout.
